Materials Management Technician Supervisor / UK Healthcare
Job SummaryUK Healthcare is seeking a Materials Management Tech Supervisor to lead staff and ensure UK Healthcare Materials Management Operations are running to or exceeding expectations. This is a high-impact customer service position, as our customers are directly involved in patient care, and our department provides the tools they need to perform these duties. The Supervisor will be directly responsible for operational planning and setting department goals as well as customer service management and supervision.
The Supervisor will assure time is allocated daily in the department, set a daily schedule so that expectations are met, and will actively participate in department budgeting and goal setting process. In addition, the Supervisor will interact with other department managers and supervisors to establish service levels, resolve customer complaints, and supervise staff to make sure they perform their assigned duties correctly.
The Supervisor will also be responsible for providing education and training for all Healthcare Materials Management Information Systems with staff and provide reports on staff productivity and supply utilization.

2nd Shift; with call and holiday as needed.
Physical RequirementsThe ability to lift, push, pull objects over 50 lbs; stand and/or walk for extended periods with objects up to 25 lbs; substantial kneeling and reaching overhead; working in confined spaces; exposure to loud noises and blood borne/airborne pathogens.

Experience:
High school and at least 3–4 years of inventory, stocking, receiving, warehousing, or related experience.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: Exceptional customer service, planning and organization, time management, attention to detail, listening, communication, ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines, experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and point-of-use systems.
