Shape reliability every day in Lexington, KY

Picture your morning: you pull on your PPE, open your route on a handheld, and step onto the plant floor. Motors hum, fans whir, and gearboxes turn—each with a signature you can read. By mid‑day, you’ve captured vibration data across pumps, compressors, and gearboxes, then stepped into the control room to troubleshoot a VFD and soft‑starter. Before you leave, you’ve translated findings into clear, actionable recommendations that prevent unplanned downtime and improve asset health.

That’s a typical day for our Rotating Machinery Condition Monitoring Specialist.

What you’ll do
  • Execute route-based vibration data collection, analysis, and reporting across rotating assets (motors, pumps, gearboxes, fans, compressors, etc.).
  • Diagnose faults and provide condition monitoring insights to reduce failures and extend equipment life.
  • Troubleshoot motor control systems, including VFDs and soft‑starters, in partnership with maintenance and engineering.
  • Develop concise reliability reports with corrective actions and prioritization.
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations to optimize performance across mixed industrial applications.
What you bring

  • 2+ years in vibration analysis, reliability, or rotating equipment maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of motor controls, VFDs, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with vibration platforms/software (CSI/Emerson).
Physical and work environment
  • Comfort working in industrial plant settings around rotating machinery.
  • Ability to lift 40+ lbs., climb ladders, and access equipment at height or in tight spaces.
  • Willing to travel, including occasional overnight trips.
What we offer
  • Mileage re‑imbursement.
  • Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.).
  • Training and certification support for continued growth.
  • Opportunities for advancement within a growing team environment.
Additional proficiencies
  • Process Engineering
  • Outside Sales
  • Service
  • High‑level Operations Analysis
