Sign‑On Bonus: $15,000 (subject to conditions)
ResponsibilitiesLead nursing units to deliver high‑quality psychiatric and substance use disorder care for children, adolescents, and adults in a 110‑bed free‑standing psychiatric hospital.
- Supervise employees of the nursing units, ensuring timely completion of assigned duties.
- Adhere to full‑time equivalent (FTE) guidelines, understanding the correlation between FTE and patient census.
- Collaborate with the HR Director on employee issues.
- Monitor performance continuously, providing regular informal feedback and maintaining written documentation of all feedback.
- Use leadership skills to problem‑solve, think critically, and formulate positive resolutions.

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
- One year of supervisory experience in nursing.
- Current Kentucky RN license.
- Crisis intervention certification required (training provided upon hire).
- CPR certification.
- Knowledge of normal growth and development appropriate to the patient population.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to delegate appropriately.
- Knowledge of nursing standards of care and practice and ability to integrate these into all aspects of nursing management.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations relevant to responsibilities.
