American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring at least 2 years of cath lab experience and a KY or compact RN license.

• Work in a busy Cardiac Cath Lab performing caths, angioplasty, interventions, ablations, device implants, TEEs, and cardioversions
• First shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts per week
• Call requirements included
• Part of a larger cardiac care service line including EP Lab and CV Observation units

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact) required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation required
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of cath lab nursing experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the care team
• Last 4 digits of SSN and MM/DD of date of birth required for consideration

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care centered on patient assessment, treatment planning, and family-centered education
• Coordinate admission, transfer, and discharge activities including discharge teaching and care coordination with Case Management
• Delegate and oversee patient care tasks performed by other team members
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities such as patient satisfaction, falls prevention, and documentation audits
• Must reside within a 75-mile radius to qualify for the travel pay rate; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
