American Traveler is hiring an RN for a CVOR position requiring 2 years of Level I trauma center CVOR experience and a KY or compact RN license.
Requirements- Active KY State or Compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- 2 years of Level I trauma center CVOR experience required
- Experience with heart/lung transplant, ortho, and general surgery cases required
- Neuro experience preferred
- No license disciplinary actions or hits accepted
- CVOR unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift, 5x8 hours (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
- 14-week assignment length
- Float to main OR and may also float to an affiliate hospital nearby
- Cases include heart/lung transplant, orthopedic, and general surgery
- Perform circulating and/or scrub RN duties in cardiovascular surgical cases
- RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration; requests made afterward will not be approved
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from all UK-affiliated facilities for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted for this position
