About the Role
HLM Landscape Services is seeking reliable and motivated Seasonal Snow Sidewalk Crew Members to join our winter response team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining safe walkways for our clients during changing and sometimes severe weather conditions. Work hours can be long and unpredictable, depending on snowfall and ice conditions. This position is seasonal to start but has the potential to become full time employment.
- Shovel and clear snow from sidewalks, walkways, and entryways.
- Using various pieces of equipment such as snow blowers, shovels, power brooms, and backpack blowers.
- Apply ice melt and other de-icing products as directed.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Work in outdoor environments for extended periods, including cold, snow, wind, and freezing rain.
- Work to provide a hazard‑free environment for our clients.
- Represent the company’s core values at all times: teamwork, professionalism, integrity, adaptability, and accountability.
- Must be dependable and available during winter weather events, sometimes with short notice.
- Comfortable working long hours in various outdoor weather conditions.
- Able to lift to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Reliable transportation to our shop.
