Position: STEPS Clinical Research Analyst

Job Summary: A busy clinical research operation funded mainly by the National Institute on Drug Abuse seeks a professional and responsible Research Analyst to assist in all aspects of the research process using Good Clinical Practices.

  • Telephone screening
  • Assisting with subject interviews
  • Conducting daily research sessions
  • Coordinating research studies
  • Recruiting research subjects
  • Assisting with data analysis for scientific publication
  • Additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field preferred.
  • Two years of experience researching with human subjects desired.
  • Knowledge of clinical research and regulations of conducting Human Research Protocols.
  • Experience with interviewing research subjects, conducting daily research sessions, coordinating studies, and recruiting subjects.
  • Experience in drug abuse and addiction research desired.
  • Professional with good oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented, teamwork-oriented, excellent work ethic, dependable.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Work Location: Lexington, KY

Salary Range: $22–$24 per hour

Position Type: Temporary full-time

Shift: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday (weekend and evening work may be required per workload demands).
