Key Account Sales Specialist

The Key Account Specialist (KAS) provides support to Galls Account Managers and to our valued customers. Responsibilities include the provision of product information and ordering methods, processing orders, tracking shipments, answering inquiries about delivery of orders or returns and overseeing the lifecycle of B2B projects, orders, and quotes to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.

• Answer, track and forward incoming sales calls and, when business needs dictate, perform related tasks.
• Work closely with account managers to place orders, identify specialty item numbers, track shipments, authorize returns, input purchase orders and promote the web‑based system for transactions.
• Manage large‑scale and complex quotes and orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Arrange for special handling of orders and deliveries with internal departments such as merchandising, uniform services or distribution to ensure uniforms and other products are expedited to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of specialized product lines, including ballistics, VAS (Value‑Added Services), and custom uniform programs (e.g., jumpsuits).
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert for sales team members requiring creative, strategic problem‑solving techniques.
• Understand and execute on state‑specific Buy Boards and Cooperative Contractual Pricing Agreements, ensuring all transactions align with company policies and legal requirements.
• Provide back‑up support for account managers when unavailable or out of office.

• Minimum high school diploma; four‑year degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Internet, and Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
• One year of Customer Service, Sales or Retail experience.
• General knowledge of Galls product categories.
• Specific knowledge of customer ordering procedures.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong customer service skills, including excellent phone etiquette.
• Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
