Outside Sales Representative

Taylor Sudden Service, Inc. (SSI), a subsidiary of the Taylor Group of Companies, is seeking a driven and customer-focused Parts Sales & Service Representative for the Louisville/Lexington KY territory to join our team. SSI is the exclusive global distributor of genuine Taylor OEM parts and forklift services for equipment manufactured by Taylor Machine Works, Inc. With roots in Louisville, Mississippi since 1927, we’re proud to be a third-generation family-owned business committed to excellence in service and support.

• Drive sales for generator parts, services, rentals, and rebuilds across all makes and models.
• Quote field services and manage customer relationships.
• Develop new accounts and maintain existing ones in your assigned territory.
• Represent SSI at industry trade shows and conferences to build brand awareness and customer connections.
• Collaborate with Taylor Power Systems sales reps to identify service opportunities.
• Create and execute strategies to grow generator service and rental business.
• Submit weekly call reports and maintain accurate expense documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience in industrial equipment or generator sales/service
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel and attend industry events.
• Self-starter with a strategic mindset and customer-first approach.
