Outside Sales Representative – Lexington, KY
Japanese Precision Machinery Company is looking for a full‑time Outside Sales Representative to join our Lexington, KY location. The role involves generating new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets within an assigned territory.

- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct face‑to‑face meetings with potential and existing clients to present our products/services.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer support.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Attend trade shows and industry events to represent the company and generate leads.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Knowledge of Japanese (any level) would be a plus (not required).
Base salary range: $60,000–$70,000. Additional territory and target‑based incentives may apply.
