What You'll Do:

As a Sales Intern at Xometry, you'll be at the forefront of driving business growth. Your responsibilities will include:

* Lead Generation:
Actively follow up on inbound leads, identify qualified opportunities, and provide timely and relevant information to potential customers

* Prospect Development:
Build and nurture a pipeline of potential clients through targeted outreach, including cold calling and email campaigns

* Market Research:
Conduct in-depth research to identify key decision-makers, understand their business needs, and tailor your sales approach accordingly

* Sales Process:
Collaborate with the sales team to move deals through the sales pipeline, from initial contact to closing

* Case Study:
Work alongside fellow interns to analyze a real-world business challenge and present innovative solutions to senior leadership

What We're Looking For:

* Academic Excellence:
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, graduating in December 2026 or May 2027, with a minimum 3.5 GPA

* Strong Work Ethic:
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship period (June 8 - August 14, 2026)

* Excellent Communication

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Entrepreneurial Spirit: A passion for problem-solving and a desire to drive results

* Legal Authorization:
Ability to provide proof of legal right to work in the United States

* Location Requirement:
Ability to commute to our Lexington, KY or North Bethesda, MD office to work onsite for at least 3 days a week
