Bilingual (Japanese/English) Sales Representative / Account Manager
A premier Japanese machinery trading company is seeking a motivated and capable Bilingual Sales Representative based in the Lexington, KY area. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and expanding market presence within the automotive, chemical, and food industries. You will handle existing accounts, generate new business opportunities, and manage project administration across the Midwest region and beyond.
Essential Duties ]
Conduct sales activities targeting the automotive, chemical, and food industries.
Formulate and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory target goals.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing accounts while actively opening new accounts.
Handle end-to-end project administrative tasks, including preparing sales quotes, issuing invoices, and tracking schedules.
Communicate effectively in both Japanese and English to bridge client needs with internal teams and headquarters.
Standard business hours (Flexibility required based on travel and client demands).
Field-oriented / Travel required (Approx. 2–3 business trips per week within assigned territories).
Lexington, KY (Relocation assistance available; candidates willing to relocate to the Lexington area are welcome).
Around $80,000 / year (Commensurate with experience)

Experience: Prior sales experience is preferred (Entry-level with high motivation or candidates with sales background in any industry are welcome; machinery industry experience is NOT required).
