Description
Our company offers a unique working environment that specializes in projects such as drilling landfill gas extraction wells, installing new pipe systems to collect landfill gas, HDPE fusion, dropping and setting pneumatic pumps. Your role will support project needs like trench digging, HDPE pipe fusion, dirt hauling, and site cleanup.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Travel for extended periods - 4 weeks on, 1 week off
• Living in hotels & traveling between states 100% of the time
• Walk long distances on steep landfills and outdoor terrain
• Perform heavy manual work
• Lift at least 50 pounds
• Work in extreme weather conditions safely
• Maintain work areas and equipment
• Work overtime and weekends as needed
• Assist with materials and equipment needs
• Perform system construction activities safely
• Fuse HDPE pipe from 2" to 36"

Operator Responsibilities/Qualifications

• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment
• Conduct pre-operational checks, clean, lubricate, and refill equipment
• Assist with excavation and pipe installation
• Ensure trench depth and grade are correct
• Operate excavator, dozer, and articulated dump truck with awareness of surroundings
• Perform routine equipment maintenance
• Experience with landfill construction and oil & gas pipelines preferred
• 5+ years' experience operating heavy machinery
