Repair Technician - Roofing and Exterior Remodeling

Experienced hands-on repair technician needed in Lexington, KY. Perform roofing, siding, window, and gutter repairs-no management duties. Company truck, benefits, steady work, $52K-$70K.

Craftsmen Contractors is hiring an experienced Repair Technician / Roofing Repairs Specialist in Lexington, KY to complete residential roofing, siding, window, gutter, and general construction repairs. This is a working, hands-on field role-not a management position.

You will be responsible for completing repairs sold by our team, helping us reduce third-party labor costs while delivering high-quality craftsmanship to homeowners.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform roof repairs (shingle replacement, flashing, leak repairs)
• Safely access roofs using ladders and work at heights
• Complete vinyl siding repairs, including panel replacement and flashing
• Perform window repairs, including:
• Measuring windows
• Repairing balances, locks, and components
• Detach, reset, pitch, and maintain gutter systems
• Support miscellaneous residential construction repairs as needed
• Complete work based on contract scopes and repair details

Required Experience

• Hands-on experience required in multiple trades:
• Roofing installation and repair
• Vinyl siding installation and repair
• Window measurement and component repair
• Gutter systems and maintenance
• General residential construction
• Comfortable working on roofs and ladders
• Owns personal tools required for repair work
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (company truck provided)

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, weekends as needed
• 45-50 hours per week
• Annual range: $55,000-$70,000, based on experience
