Trades ​/ Skilled Labor Operator, Heavy Equipment Operator

This is a full-time on-site role for an Excavation Operator, located in Ashland, KY. The Excavation Operator will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of heavy equipment used in excavation projects. Day‑to‑day tasks include grading and back filling, trenching, digging, and safely operating machinery in adherence to project plans and safety protocols. The role also requires routine inspections of equipment and collaboration with team members and supervisors to ensure work is carried out efficiently and safely.

• Proficiency in operating excavation equipment such as excavators and skid steers
• Experience with equipment maintenance and inspection procedures
• Knowledge of construction site safety standards and practices
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members
• Attention to detail and accuracy in executing excavation and related tasks
• Experience with "in town/city" work a plus
• Physical ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the worksite
