Position Summary:As a Regional Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive top‑notch service and support for their copiers, printers, and mailing equipment. This position offers the opportunity to travel daily to various customer sites within Lexington, KY, and surrounding counties, making each day unique and engaging.
Key Responsibilities:- Onsite Service:
Deliver installation, user training, and software configurations for printing and mailing equipment to businesses in Lexington, KY, and surrounding areas. - Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, including error codes, connectivity problems, and mechanical failures. - Mechanical Repairs:
Perform mechanical repairs and troubleshooting on copiers, printers, and mailing equipment. - Software Configuration:
Configure mailing software, troubleshoot issues, and train end‑users to enhance productivity. - Equipment Delivery:
Deliver and set up equipment using company vehicles, ensuring smooth operations for customers. - Continuous Learning:
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry best practices and technologies.
- At least 1 year of field service experience, working onsite for customers.
- Basic IT and networking skills, including installing printer drivers, troubleshooting network connectivity, and working with IP addresses.
- Ability to read technical service manuals and diagrams to troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Organizational skills to manage trouble tickets and coordinate work tasks with dispatch.
- Valid driver’s license with dependable personal transportation (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Physical capability to move and transport equipment using hand carts, dollies, and vans.
- At least 2 years of experience with copiers or mailing equipment, including corrective maintenance.
- Familiarity with mid‑level copiers (45‑65 ppm) and Sharp or Toshiba copiers.
- Experience with mailing systems is a plus; training will be provided.
- Salary:
Competitive starting pay of $25–$28 per hour. - Full‑time position with potential for advancement based on performance and professional development.

- Service area:
Lexington, KY with primary service locations including Georgetown, Paris, Nicholasville, Richmond, and Berea. - Travel requirements:
Daily travel typically within a 1‑hour radius. - Reliable personal transportation required; all travel done via personal vehicles with mileage reimbursement.
