Operator Telecom Drill Bores

Star Construction LLC is hiring an Operator Telecom Drill Bores to operate drill equipment to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure.

• Determine bore path and locate utilities
• Safely operate and control equipment to complete tasks
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path
• Utilize “Mud” mixing systems
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

• 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience
• Valid state driver's license (non-provisional) with acceptable record
• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it
• Experience with drilling equipment, setup, design processes

• Routine: work with arms above shoulder, confined spaces, operate heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift >55 lbs
• Occasional: use ladder, keyboard, mouse
