Accountant Field Auditor

Overview

Our client, a mid-sized CPA firm in Lexington, is seeking a Field Auditor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, flexible environment with significant potential for advancement.

• Perform audit fieldwork and compliance testing across key financial areas.
• Create detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
• Work extensively in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Communicate regularly with clients and internal teams.

• Bachelor s degree in accounting and 2+ years of audit experience (public or private).
• CPA license or CPA-track preferred.
• Strong writing and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in retail accounting, asset-based lending examination, private accounting or individuals performing field audits.
• 30% domestic travel required.

• Pay: $75,000 - $100,000/year (base pay range) or dependent upon experience
• On-site:
  Initially 2-3 days during training then 1 day on site
