Senior Accountant, Government Accounting

CAMX Power is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a background in government contract accounting
.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with the accounting and compliance requirements associated with U.S. government contracts, including cost accounting, indirect rates, billing, and reporting.

Experience with Deltek Costpoint is a plus, but not required. More important is a solid understanding of government contracting accounting practices and requirements.

• Strong accounting experience in a government contracting environment
• Familiarity with FAR and government contract cost-accounting requirements
• Experience with indirect cost allocations, rate calculations, billing, and contract reporting
• Experience supporting government audits and maintaining compliant accounting records
• Deltek experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
