This position reports to the Business Account Manager and is part of the Screener Business Unit located in Lexington, MA and will be an on-site role. This full-time position will have responsibility for specific geographic areas and/or specific accounts in North America. This position requires 20% travel within North America on a regular basis and occasional international travel.
The salary range for this role is $90,000.00/yr - $/yr. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

Your Responsibilities- Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and networking events; connect with biopharmaceutical scientists, IT professionals and R&D managers to understand their needs and raise awareness of Genedata Screener.
- Actively identify opportunities by uncovering critical assay analysis needs.
- Drive business and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure: conduct outreach, qualify prospects, manage software demonstrations (with the professional services team), communicate proposals, build value, negotiate and close deals.
- Manage active accounts: build trusted relationships, understand customer scientific, technical, and business needs, manage software renewals, expand licenses, and develop opportunities for paid projects.
- Interact with professional services, product management, marketing and other teams to identify and build opportunities and sell software and services.
- Passion for accelerating biopharma R&D through high-value enterprise software solutions.
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in a Life Sciences discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in B2B related to life sciences, preferably in software sales.
- Familiarity with drug discovery processes.
- Experience with scientific data analysis software.
- Willingness to take initiative, with excellent planning, organization and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English.
- Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
