Structural Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Structural Engineer with Security Clearance
Structural Engineer with expertise in the analysis, design, and testing of structures for sea, ground, air, and space-based payloads. The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary team developing operational prototype hardware, supporting the full program lifecycle—from concept development through fielding and test.

Key Responsibilities
Perform static and dynamic structural modeling and analysis using tools such as FEMAP, NASTRAN, SOLIDWORKS, and ANSYS.
Conduct vibration and shock testing, environmental testing, and model correlation.
Utilize and validate 3D digital models for design and production (CATIA, Siemens NX, IDEAS, Pro Engineer).
Perform damage tolerance, durability, producibility, and safety evaluations.
Support rapid, conventional, and Level 1 programs with hands-on analysis and testing.
Communicate engineering findings clearly in technical reports and presentations. Must Haves
5+ years of experience in structural modeling, static/dynamic analysis, and FEA.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Proven ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary engineering teams. Nice to Haves
Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field.

Experience with structural testing and model correlation.
Familiarity with STOP (Structural, Thermal, Optical Performance) and LOS (Line-of-Sight) jitter analysis.
Experience designing test fixtures or structural components.
Hands-on experience with shock/vibration testing and finite element modeling in both static and dynamic environments.
