Senior Director – Patient Access Brand Strategy & Operations (RDBU)
Join Takeda as a Head of Patient Access Brand Strategy and Operations for Rare Disease units (HAE, LSD, CMV, HEM) based in Lexington, MA. In this role you will establish the Patient Access Brand vision, drive operational execution, and ensure industry‑leading patient satisfaction throughคืน

- Develop the Patient Access vision and strategy for Rare in alignment with BU leadership.
- Maintain up‑to‑date expertise on external factors that affect patient access needs.
- Serve as the Rare BU Patient Access subject‑matter expert and strategic partner across functions, Business Unit, and Franchise Heads.
- Ensure operational success of strategic initiatives including Hub services, copay programs, free drug programs, vendor selection and performance management.
- Partner with senior leadership to implement initiatives across Rare.
- Proactively address emerging patient needs with fit‑for‑purpose initiatives and implementation plans.

- Serve as a strategic Patient Access partner and active member of the extended Leadership Team.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field ушам the essentials (policy, government, life sciences). Master’s/PhD or MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with 5–10 years in a leadership role.
- Significant experience in strategic and operational patient services & access roles.
- Experience operating in a matrix team environment.
- Strong understanding of commercial mapped aspects: brand management, sales, market access, patient advocacy, regulatory environments, and reimbursement challenges.
- Ability to translate marketplace forces into clear short‑term plans and long‑term goals.
- Strong leadership, business acumen, and ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations.
- Skill in refining team strategy and proactively adjusting to industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability to summarize complex information concisely in writing or verbally.
- Proven execution of targeted briefings for executive leadership and senior management.
- Effective team player who engenders credibility within and outside the company.

- Ability to léad, manage, and motivate teams with or without direct supervisory authority.
- Experience managing projects, including work plans and budgets.
