Per Diem Registered Nurse; RN

Overview

Assisting Hands Home Care, a national leader for In-Home Care services, is looking for an outstanding Registered Nurse to join our team. At Assisting Hands - Boston Northwest, we strive to be the best agency for clients and the employer of choice for admin and field staff. In this role, the RN will train all field staff prior to working with their client.

The RN will provide ongoing training, annual in-services and will be proactive in ensuring all staff are properly trained on equipment and safety procedures. He/she is also responsible for client assessments, developing care plans and conducting supervisory visits. This position will include being part of an on-call rotation.

• Train all field staff prior to working with clients; provide ongoing training, annual in-services, and ensure staff are properly trained on equipment and safety procedures.
• Conduct client assessments and develop care plans.
• Perform supervisory visits and participate in on-call rotation.

• Current RN License in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current TB or Chest X-ray
• Current CPR Certification
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Compassionate and team-oriented; ability to care for others
• Ability to conduct orientations and train staff
• Understanding of On-Call responsibilities
