Process Technology Scientist II/Sr. Scientist I in CMC at Wave Life Sciences
Responsibilities:
- synthesize, purify, and characterize oligonucleotides
- support process development, external technology transfer, and GMP manufacturing
- develop transfer packages, risk assessments, and troubleshooting plans
- contribute to process technology innovation and cost reduction
- collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Analytical, Supply Chain, and external partners
Requirements:
- BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related
- 4-6+ years in oligonucleotide process development, GMP manufacturing, or technical transfer
- knowledge of oligonucleotide synthesis, purification, analytical characterization, and cGMP standards
- hands-on experience with ÄKTA, Waters, Sartorius instruments preferred
High-Value:
- expertise in nucleic acids, GMP environment, external tech transfer, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration
Work Setup: based in Lexington, MA, with travel as needed for external manufacturing and process support.
