Brookhaven at Lexington, a prestigious private community located in Lexington, MA, is seeking experienced cooks skilled in fine dining for its three dining venues. This full‑time, 40‑hour week position requires two to three years of experience in high‑end restaurants, hotels, or private clubs, with an emphasis on scratch cooking using only the highest quality, freshest ingredients.
Pay range: $20.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience. Responsibilities- Prepare high‑quality menu options that meet and exceed resident expectations.
- Prepare stocks, soups, and sauces from scratch.
- Trim and portion proteins—beef, poultry, and seafood.
- Work as line cook on all stations—sauté, grill, fry, and cold.
- Produce menu items according to recipes.
- Work all shifts as assigned.
- Complete food‑tracking worksheets when necessary.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
- Two to three years of experience in a fine‑dining setting.
- Culinary Arts degree desired.
- Serv Safe certification or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detailed working knowledge of food‑service equipment.
