Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Lexington, MA. The Sales Associate will greet and assist customers, provide product recommendations, and ensure a positive in-store experience. Daily responsibilities include handling sales transactions, operating the point-of-sale system, restocking and merchandising displays, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor. The role also involves learning product details, supporting store promotions, processing special orders or gift wrapping, and collaborating with team members to meet sales and customer service goals.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage warmly and professionally with diverse shoppers.
• Candidates should possess retail sales and point-of-sale (POS) skills, including cash handling, transaction processing, and basic math competency.
• Candidates should possess merchandising and visual presentation skills, with attention to detail in arranging displays and maintaining store appearance.
• Candidates should possess communication and teamwork skills, including clear verbal communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Candidates should possess time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy retail environment.
• Interest in artisan-made products, jewelry, pottery, and gift items is highly beneficial.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move merchandise as needed.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on store needs.
