Job Overview

Red River is seeking a mission‑driven Cybersecurity Engineer with an active Secret clearance to support one of our premier clients in Lexington, MA. This onsite role is a critical part of our growing cybersecurity practice and is best suited for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, compliance‑driven environment. You will be responsible for handling complex technical support requests—both directly from customers and through escalations—while working collaboratively across CES Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Information Assurance teams.

This position plays a key role in maintaining and enforcing cybersecurity compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal security mandates. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience applying DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and leveraging tools such as DISA’s SCC Tool, EvalSTIG, and STIG Viewer to conduct assessments, identify non‑compliance, and implement effective remediations. Familiarity with SCAP protocols and automation techniques is highly desirable.

Minimum Education / Certification / Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of IT experience (5 years preferred) with IT administration and support including Windows administration and management of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy.
  • Experience with DISA STIGs and SCAP‑based compliance tools such as SCAP Compliance Checker, STIG Viewer, or SCC Tool.
