Life Stance Health is expanding its services by adding Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to one of its Massachusetts locations and is seeking a dedicated psychiatrist to join the team. The clinician will conduct patient assessments, oversee TMS technicians, and help drive program growth in a collaborative setting. Prescribers at Life Stance benefit from clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive operational support.
Practice Info
- Multidisciplinary group composed of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, and neuropsychologists.
- TMS offices located in Lexington, Massachusetts.
- Practice provides well-appointed offices and an EMR system with electronic prescribing.
- Dedicated support staff including a Medical Services team that manages prior authorization paperwork, credentialing, insurance authorizations, scheduling, and billing.
- Peer consultation groups for collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Participate in training to develop TMS skills, if not already experienced.
- Commit to at least two in-person clinic days per week for mapping and remapping visits.
- Conduct initial patient assessments (in person or via telehealth), confirm diagnoses, and document medical necessity using an AMD template and supporting forms.
- Closely oversee the TMS technician, co-sign daily treatment notes, and be readily available for clinical questions.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust protocols as needed, and provide discharge summaries to the primary/referring psychiatric clinician.
- Represent the TMS program to internal and external clinicians, to educate, and coordinate care.
Compensation
- $300,000 - $373,000 compensation model based on productivity
- Compensation for supervising PMHNP's

Qualifications
- BC/BE psychiatrist
- Strong interest in TMS, a commitment to teamwork, and a focus on patient outcomes, quality care, and program growth
- Experience with TMS is valued but not required
