The Materials Management Warehouse Operations department is looking for an organized, dedicated, and hardworking individual to perform shipping/receiving/warehousing functions at our GMP warehouse locations at Shire N. Reading, Cambridge, Belmont and Lexington locations.
Primary Duties:
Provide a brief summary describing the major role, responsibility and purpose of the job. Summarize key areas of accountability and budget responsibility, if applicable.
Responsibilities:
- 30% Supply and transfer GMP Raw Materials and General Supplies in support of Manufacturing Operations at the Cambridge and Lexington facilities.
- 20% Issuance and maintain GMP Raw Material and General Supply inventory accuracy via the company ERP system.
- 10% Conduct and maintain daily cycle count activities
- 10% Receive and Quarantine raw materials in the GMP warehouse via the company ERP system.
- 10% Maintain warehouse in a constant state of organization and GMP compliance.
- 10% Maintain GMP cold chain equipment in a constant state of organization and GMP compliance - includes changing charts and liquid nitrogen tanks.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Driver’s License
Key Skills, Abilities, and
Competencies:
- 1 - 3 years warehouse experience required.
- Previous experience in an SOP based or GMP environment.
- IATA and DOT certified preferred.
- Previous driving experience necessary.
Leadership Capabilities (DNA): Accountability and ownership, Serving Customers, and Delivering Excellence.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced work environment and handle multiple tasks/priorities at multiple locations.
- Must be able to work closely with the Materials Management, QC Raw Materials, Purchasing and A/P departments to resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders & ERP transactions.
- Manufacturing, Quality Control, Facilities, Materials Management, Purchasing and Accounts Payable (Internal).
- Contract Manufacturers (External-CMO) and Off-site storage facilities (Vendor).
Other Job Requirements
- Driver’s License is required.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license. To include ability to operate all material handling equipment operated in the Supply Chain Warehouse Operations
- Carry company/department issued mobile phone to respond to emergency requests and critical equipment alarm notifications 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year
