Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Lexington, NE | Critical Access Hospital

Contract (13 Weeks) | 3x12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend | No Blocked Scheduling | Expected 36 Hours/Week

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department of a critical access facility seeing up to 350 ER patients per month
• Float and perform duties across ED, Med/Surg, and Charge RN roles as needed —
  flexibility across multiple care settings is required
• Function as a multifaceted RN capable of adapting to the demands of a small, 25-bed critical access environment
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
• Orientation will take place on Tuesdays only

• Active RN licensure applicable to the state of Nebraska
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Emergency Room, Med/Surg, and Charge RN roles
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• PALS (AHA or ENPC) required
• TNCC required
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome to apply

• NIHSS certification preferred
• CPI certification preferred
• SANE certification preferred
• Experience working in a critical access or rural hospital setting

• Facility-provided housing may be available to eligible travelers, offering a convenient on-site living option for the duration of the assignment
