The Area Sales Managers help current and future dealer partners sell more cars and trucks by financing more customers.

Our Area Sales Manager is the face of the company to our number one customer – our dealers. The focus of this role is to increase the number of funded deals by partnering with dealers that fit our program.

The role enables growth by identifying, onboarding, and managing dealer relationships in your local region. A consultative sales and management approach is required. Establishing strong relationships with dealers who understand how our program helps their business grow is key to success.

This is a full‑time position reporting to Regional Sales Managers. Candidates based in the US who are comfortable working remotely and on the road are eligible.

• Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person.
• Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals from telephone calls for Independent and Franchise dealers.
• Develop, maintain, and grow current and potential dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
• Maintain constant and effective communication, via phone or in person, with dealer partners on current programs.
• Train dealers in Western Funding, including proper documentation needed for fast funding of contracts.

• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• High School diploma or equivalent (required)
• College degree or equivalent work experience (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Automotive, Finance, and Sales
• Previous experience in the Financial Services Sector or within a Car Dealership
• 1–2 years of experience in a challenging sales role with a proven track record of success
• Clear and effective presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology
• Results orientation: getting things done in alignment with company objectives
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Bi‑lingual (Spanish) a plus
• Comfortable traveling up to 75% of the time, visiting Auto Dealers
• A valid driver's license is required; alternative transportation is not an acceptable substitute.

• Guaranteed compensation of $5,000 per month during the first 12 months of employment (includes a base salary of $1,500 per month plus guaranteed commissions of $3,500 per month).
• Commission potential: no cap (unlimited earning potential)
• Average first‑year total compensation range: $60,000 – $125,000 annually
• Average annual earnings after the first year: approximately $79,000
• Average annual earnings for the top ten representatives: approximately $125,000
• Monthly mileage reimbursement: average of $450 per month
