Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a dynamic opportunity in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a skilled forklift operator to join our team. As a forklift operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement of materials in a busy lumbar yard at our Charlotte, NC location. Safely loading, and transporting materials throughout the yard and supporting smooth day to day operations.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Starting Pay: $18/hour

Job Functions- Operate forklift to load and unload recycled wood materials.
- Inspect forklift and material handling equipment daily to ensure safe operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized yard environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols including the use of PPE.
- Work closely with yard team to ensure safe transport of materials to storage and staging area.
- Comply with company policies and guidelines.
- Assist in keeping a safe environment. Other duties as assigned.
- 2 years of experience operating an industrial type forklift.
- Ability to operate a forklift in various environments and conditions.
- Strong attention to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Valid Driver's License.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours.
- Occasional bending and lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
- Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
- Ability to enter and exit forklift multiple times per shift as well as climb onto and off the forklift.
