Laser Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of various machining processes and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Laser Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring production efficiency and product quality.

• Operate and monitor laser cutting machines to produce parts as per engineering specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laser equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Utilize hand tools, milling machines, electrical discharge machining, stamping presses, press brake machines, CNC machinery, lathes, and welding equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.

• Previous experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes including CNC operation, milling, stamping, and welding is advantageous.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications is essential.
• Experience with hand tools and machinery such as forklifts, press brake machines, and lathes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
