As a Train Assembly Technician, you will dive headfirst into high-energy assembly tasks within our state-of-the-art train manufacturing center. Contribute your skills to produce exceptional passenger locomotives, coaches, and light rail vehicles.
What Can You Expect?- Assemble intricate units for passenger coaches, including roofs and electrical harnesses.
- Focus on the precision alignment of floor panels, windows, and door assemblies.
- Install mechanical items like insulation, seating, and luggage racks.
- Route electrical wiring with precision and care.
- Modify and refurbish components when necessary.
- Collaborate using diagrams and verbal instructions for assembly tasks.
- Perform detailed fine motor tasks with proficiency.
- High school diploma or GED needed; experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to understand English for basic communication.
- Skills in reading blueprints are advantageous.
- Proficient at walking, climbing, and maneuvering equipment.
- Required to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
- Strong vision requirements apply.
