Schedule:
Monday-Friday, will work weekends as needed
· 2nd shift 230pm-1130pm
· 3rd shift- 10:30pm-7:30am
Pay: $20-27/hourly based on experience
Responsibilities- Start-up and maintain molding machines for production by entering data per approved setup sheets.
- Submit first and last piece articles to the Quality Department for approval.
- Monitor accuracy of process setups thru out shift (Daily Verification of Setup Monitoring Sheet).
- Stop production and/or delivery if necessary to correct quality problems.
- Ensure that all machines are running at approved cycle.
- Troubleshoot and answer machine alarms to improve production and reduce downtime.
- Set molds.
- Assist with paperwork needed to track changeover times.
- Check the auxiliary equipment to ensure it is operating correctly, everything is functioning.
- Have flexibility to complete projects assigned by the Plant Manager or Shift Supervisor.
- Maintain the Quality Management System as it pertains to area of responsibility.
- Use appropriate safety equipment.
- These responsibilities are flexible and may change as needed.
- Forklift training. Participate in required training programs
- Ability to communicate and work well with others.
- Support, strengthen and advance the mission and operating philosophy of the team.
- Abide by all regulations within the Employee Handbook.
- Technical school or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of plastic processes, machinery and common quality/production issues.
- R. J. G Molding school preferred.
