What will you do?
- With limited supervision, perform a variety of mechanical assembly of component parts as assigned following standard procedures, work instructions and/or drawings using several types of hand tools, pneumatic tools, gauges and fixtures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Ability to physically move material from prime location to point of use
- Pack out procedures
- Read BOM and Job travelers
- Identify parts and their location
- Perform final build of products > 6 months
- Perform a variety of mechanical assembly of component parts as assigned following standard procedures, work instructions and/or drawings
- Ensure proper assembly of component parts into assemblies from procedures, work instructions and/or drawings
- Assure quality of all work produced and assure quality of work received from previous operations.
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner as directed
- Understanding of World Class manufacturing principles is desirable
- Ability to perform simple shop math
- Ability to read bill of materials
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and manufacturing instructions
- Ability to identify and to use hand tools, pneumatic tools, fixtures and gauges
