Customer Service Associate – Walgreens

Base pay range: $15.00/hr – $17.50/hr.

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on the assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share and model customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Provide customer service in the photo area and other designated areas of the store.
• Recommend items for sale, including trade‑ups and companion items.
• Process returns, voids, rain checks, refunds, exchanges, and other transactions.
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well merchandised, and maintain inventory records.
• Implement asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale materials.
• Assist with separation of food items, stock rotation, and other merchandising duties.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance of store condition and appearance.
• Deliver web pick‑up orders (Picture Care Plus) to customers at the store.
• Perform special assignments and other tasks as directed.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by management.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Six months’ experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
