About the RoleWe are a family of vendors whose mission is to bring compassionate and personalized support in the funeral services industry. In this role, you will sell pre‑need and at‑need funeral services, inventory, cemetery services, property and merchandise. The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services, providing compassionate guidance.
Responsibilities- Generate leads through walk‑ins, inbound calls, and proactive lead generation and prospecting.
- Sell funeral and cemetery services, inventory, and related merchandise.
- Assist families with funeral selections and attend services as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions in the CRM system.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred.
- 1 year of sales experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required for offsite appointments; mileage reimbursement provided.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) required.
- Experience working in a CRM preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills for a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Availability to work occasional holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- Competitive salary:
Targeted first‑year earnings $45,000–$55,000. - Uncapped commission and earnings.
- Training pay $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks.
