About the Role
: Nucor Steel Lexington is seeking experienced
Electricians to support our ongoing operations and drive continuous improvement. Our Electricians are key to ensuring reliable operations, minimizing downtime, and supporting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment
• Support automation systems including PLC troubleshooting and programming
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize performance and aggressively pursue process improvements
• Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance using CMMS or related systems
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards
• Potentially work rotating schedules, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in industrial (or comparable) electrical maintenance, OR
• Equivalent education/military training (Electrical)
• Formal Training Requirement:
  Must have at least a 2-year electrical or related technical degree OR military training in Electrical

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in steel mill electrical maintenance
• Demonstrated understanding of power systems and automation technologies
• PLC troubleshooting and programming expertise
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and mechanics
• Proven track record in process improvement and collaboration with operations
• Additional certifications or degrees in Electrical or related fields
