Join Big Blue Marble Academy as a School Age Teacher, teaching from 2pm to 6pm in Longpond.
Base Pay Range$15.00/hr – $18.00/hr
About the RoleTeamwork, giving back, diversity and making a difference are the foundations of our community. As a Teacher you will lead a play‑based curriculum that takes children on an adventure around the world and helps them develop developmentally appropriate skills and concepts. You will also create rapport with families by sharing electronic daily reports of milestones and follow enhanced safety guidelines to keep the classroom clean and safe.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement activities using our play‑based curriculum.
- Develop rapport with families daily and communicate milestones.
- Follow enhanced safety guidelines and maintain a clean, safe classroom.
- At least 18 years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
- South Carolina Child Care Credential or CDA.
- At least six months of licensed childcare experience.
- Early childhood coursework, CDA or degree preferred.
- Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, etc. while working with children.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
- Must be able to visually supervise children at all times.
