Lexington Process Engineer

* Key Responsibilities:

** Work with vendors on equipment upgrades and maintenance strategies. Collaborate with R&D on process requirements for new fiber optic cable designs.

* Qualifications:

* Education:

** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or similar Engineering related field.
*
* Experience:

** 1-year practical experience in manufacturing environment encompassing manufacturing engineering, statistical planning techniques, business systems, project management, and or quality control. Experience through internships or co-ops preferred.

Knowledge of extrusion, polymer processing, and optical fiber handling is a plus.
*
* Skills:

** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

** experience in Hands-on experience with extrusion processes, including polymer handling and die design.
