We are accepting applications for a Caregiver/CNA - Med Tech. This position provides direct patient care services and keeps records on personal health care activities and administers prescription medications at the appropriate times for the assigned unit during shift. Must have SC Med-Tech Certificate.

Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, transferring, and mobility
- Assist residents with dining: escorting, taking orders, serving, feeding, meal preparation, and clean up
- Assist with housekeeping tasks: bed making, trash removal, laundry, room and bathroom cleaning as needed
- Lead and assist with life enrichment activities under guidance from Life Enrichment Leaders and Supervisors
- Escort residents to scheduled programming; participate in outings or day trips as appropriate and encourage participation
- Take and record vital signs and weights as ordered
- Administer prescription medications on schedule and validate medications at administration
- Participate in in-service training and education programs
- Other duties as assigned
- State Certification as a Nursing Assistant and Med Tech
- Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar healthcare position preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
- Ability to meet attendance and punctuality standards
- Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment
- Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision
- Very active position with frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs and push up to 250 lbs independently
- Use proper body mechanics to assist residents
- Long hours with potential night and weekend work
No travel is required, with occasional travel for training or company events
Education and Experience Requirements- State Certification as a Nursing Assistant and Med Tech
- CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar healthcare position preferred
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Ability to use electronic records and office equipment
- Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision
