As a Plumbing Installer, you will be responsible for installing plumbing systems in new construction homes, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards. Responsibilities- Installation of pipes, faucets, sinks, toilets, water heaters, and other fixtures.
- Repairing or replacing damaged fixtures, fixing leaks, blockages, or broken pipes.
- Conduct visual inspections of plumbing systems after installation to ensure drains and pipes are in good condition to prevent future issues.
- Specialized tasks like working with gas piping for heating systems or appliances.
- Collaborate with builders to plan and implement plumbing systems in new constructions.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to diagnose and fix complex issues efficiently.
- Handling heavy tools, equipment, and prolonged labor.
- Clear communication of issues and constraints.
- Provide respectful and courteous interactions to build trust and satisfaction.
- Follow protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
Experience: 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in residential plumbing installation, preferably in new construction environments.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, fittings, and installation techniques, including PVC, PEX, and copper piping systems.
Licensing & Certification: Plumbing license, apprentice/journeyman card, or equivalent technical certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plans.
Tools & Equipment: Skilled in safely operating plumbing tools and power equipment.
Safety Awareness: Commitment to OSHA and company safety standards, including proper use of PPE.
Physical Capability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
Problem‑Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and recommend effective solutions.
Dependability: Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Communication: Clear and respectful communication with supervisors, team members, and builders.
Work Authorization: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel between job sites across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia as needed.
