Area Supervisor – Plumbing Field Supervisor

Location: Lexington, South Carolina

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 (Based on Experience)

  • Extensive hands‑on plumbing experience and a deep understanding of the trade

Experience That Stands Out
  • 10+ years of plumbing experience; journeyman or master certification preferred

  • Strong knowledge of local and national plumbing codes
  • Project management experience in scheduling, budgeting, and coordination
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and implement effective solutions
  • A track record of enforcing safety standards and delivering high‑quality work
What You’ll Do
  • Supervise Quality Inspectors, plumbers, and subcontractors to ensure timely, high‑quality work
  • Plan manpower needs, assign tasks, and coordinate with other trades
  • Inspect installations for code compliance, safety, and workmanship
  • Troubleshoot installation conflicts and keep projects running smoothly
  • Enforce job site safety protocols for all employees and subcontractors
  • Maintain accurate records of progress, inspections, and project adjustments

Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of hands‑on plumbing experience in residential construction
  • Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber license
  • Previous supervisory or lead experience, overseeing plumbers and subcontractors
  • Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and inspection requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
  • Proven ability to plan manpower, assign tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving skills, including troubleshooting plumbing issues and resolving jobsite conflicts
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with teams, contractors, and clients
