Dental Assistant

Rockbridge Area Health Center (RAHC) seeks a full‑time Dental Assistant to join our mobile dental program. The role involves assisting the dentist and dental hygienist in providing primary care services, sterilizing and maintaining instruments, and supporting the efficient operation of the clinic. The position may also require occasional work at the Buena Vista location.

• Assist dentists and hygienists in delivering primary care dental services.
• Prepare, sterilize, maintain, and inventory dental instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Participate in the mobile dental program to promote oral health in the community.
• Support clinic operations and occasional service at Buena Vista location.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Basic Life Support Provider certification at the time of hire (required).
• Completion of an Accelerated Dental Assisting Program or prior Dental Assisting experience (required).
• DANB Certification (preferred).
• X‑Ray Certification (preferred).
