Overview

The Biology Department at the Virginia Military Institute invites applications for a non-tenure track, adjunct position. Military experience is not required. The current salary rate for one laboratory course is $9,832. The successful candidate will serve under a renewable contract. Full-time faculty at VMI wear uniforms and adhere to military customs, but adjunct instructors are not required to do so.

Located in the southern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, VMI is a small, highly rated state-supported four-year undergraduate military college with a strong emphasis on teaching and undergraduate research.
