Denham Property & Injury Law Firm is looking for a property casualty litigator, preferably with prior practice area experience, to assist with our vibrant and growing practice.

You must have experience managing cases in state and federal courts; supervising/mentoring staff; managing discovery; taking/defending depositions; writing petitions, complaints, motions, and briefs with little supervision; and preparing for trial. This is also an opportunity for a forward-thinking lawyer to learn about the business of practicing law.

• Pay:
  The sky really is the limit, but applicants can expect $150,000+ for meeting minimum expectations. We offer a competitive base + Bonus.

• Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff
• Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action
• Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings
• Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence
• Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies

• Must be admitted to practice in the State of Kentucky. Additional states are not required, but it is a major bonus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary
• Able to work independently while handling multiple files
• Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a law firm environment

$150,000 - $250,000 yearly

Based in Lexington, KY, our firm works with clients across the country to pursue fair resolution of their cases.
