Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – full‑time, variable hours – Carilion Clinic, 1 Health Cir – Lexington, VA.

• Develop an anesthesia care plan for patients of all ages in coordination with an anesthesiologist or the patient’s physician.
• Implement and adjust the anesthetic plan to adapt to the patient’s response.
• Document the patient’s response to anesthesia in a complete and accurate manner.
• Assure patient safety during anesthesia care and during transfer of care to other health‑care providers.
• Collaborate with and direct other health‑care personnel as related to anesthesia administration.

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing school and a Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA) accredited school of nurse anesthesia education.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner–Nurse Anesthetist in the State of Virginia.
• Current certification or recertification as an active, practicing nurse anesthetist by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Maintain current American Heart Association (AHA) approved BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
