Assistant Women's Soccer Coach
Virginia Military Institute Athletics, an NCAA Division I member and member of the Southern Conference, is seeking an Assistant Women's Soccer Coach.
Job Duties- Assist in organizing and directing all phases of the Women’s Soccer Program.
- Recruit and evaluate potential student‑athletes.
- Coordinate team travel arrangements.
- Design and implement training programs focused on athlete development, injury prevention, and performance enhancement.
- Collaborate with coaching staff conditionally, athletic department, and VMI administration to support student‑athlete academic progress and personal development.
- Perform administrative duties and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
- Ensure compliance with VMI, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and coaching experience.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Demonstrated success in training, mentoring, and developing student‑athletes.
- Proven track record in recruiting and retaining quality student‑athletes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with aCREATEcollaborative approach to working with staff and administrators.
