The Office Administrator in a fostering agency provides essential administrative support to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of the service. The role includes maintaining accurate records for foster carers and children, coordinating meetings and panel paperwork, handling calls and enquiries, and supporting social workers with documentation.

We are seeking a motivated and organised Office Administrator Apprentice to join our fostering agency. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while supporting a team dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people.

Role Overview

You will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office and assist the team in delivering a high‑quality fostering service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting with general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records for foster carers and children.
  • Assisting with the coordination of meetings, supervisions, and fostering panels.
  • Preparing documents and paperwork for reviews and panel meetings.
  • Handling incoming calls and emails, directing enquiries appropriately.
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new foster carers.
  • Assisting with training coordination and sending reminders.
  • Providing general office support to the wider team.
